And so it begins..........

Before coming away we were both asked on numerous occasions whether we would be keeping a blog, and from what I gathered, peoples expectations were that it was a given that we would be joining the blogosphere. In all honesty I had never for a second even considered documenting my travels in the virtual world but conversely I had never considered it a possibility that I would find myself in a basement Reggae club in downtown Kyoto with a 68 year old man singing "JAH IS BY MY SIDE" at me in between harmonica solos and enthusiastic recommendations of the macrobiotic diet. Things change, some things have to be shared and sometimes you have to be flexible so here goes.
